Nancy Grove
Having recently completed seven years of service in Korea and Germany, Nancy Grove was no stranger to Army Special Services. When she was given orders to report to Vietnam, she was eager to help the soldiers who, she believed, were being mistreated by the American public. Grove was the leader of three service clubs in Da Nang, Saigon, and Pleiku. Because the American military was readying to leave Vietnam from 1972-1973, Grove was tasked with shutting down the Service Clubs, as well. From years of wartime exposure and returning home from Vietnam to her father's passing, Grove was emotionally distraught after the war. Grove speaks about her recovery from Vietnam, both mentally and physically, and the life long impact the war has had on her.
