Father Philip Salois
Conversation with Father Philip Salois
00:00 / 55:55
On March 1, 1970 at Fire Support Base Mace, Father Philip Salois was watching his battle buddies die in the field. He looked up to the sky and said: "God, if I get back, I'll do anything you want." 51 years after saving his buddies, Father Phil is still a practicing Chaplain. In his conversation, Father Phil recalls the heavy combat he encountered, what it was like being a man against war in a war, and his life long career as an Army Chaplain.
